Entering Wrestlers in Track Wrestling
Concussion Awareness Training
Michigan law requires that all youth coaches, employees, and volunteers complete HEADS UP to Youth Sports: Online Training. Once complete, you must retain record of the completion of the course or repeat the course. The training is good for two years.
If a wrestler is suspected of having a concussion they must be removed from competition. They cannot return until they return a medical clearance form. All documents can be found in the Documents section of this website.
Anyone who will be matside at a tournament must have a USA Wrestling Leader Membership which requires SafeSport training and a background check. One coach with a USA Wrestling Leadership must be at practice at all times.
